How to request account deletion

1. Email support@kaameasy.in from the email address registered on your KaamEasy account, or state your registered mobile number clearly in the message if you registered with phone.
2. Say whether you use the Customer or Partner app (or both). If both, tell us which account(s) to delete.
3. We may reply to confirm identity (e.g. OTP, last booking ID, or profile details). Please respond so we can process the request safely.
4. After verification, we process permanent deletion of your account and routine personal data tied to it, subject to the retention section below.

What to include in your email

• Registered email and/or registered mobile number (must match what is on file).
• Full name as shown in the app (helps us match the account).
• Optional: screenshot or user ID only if we ask for it during verification.

Data deletion timeline

After we verify you, we typically complete account closure and delete or anonymise your personal profile data within 7–30 days. Complex cases (open disputes, chargebacks, or law-enforcement holds) may need a short extension; we will tell you if that applies.

What we may keep (legal & operations)

Even after account deletion, some data may be retained where required or permitted by law, for example:

• Booking, trip, and service records — minimum details needed for tax, accounting, disputes, insurance, or safety investigations;
• Payment and transaction references — as required by regulators, payment partners, or Indian law (often in aggregated or minimised form);
• Records subject to legal hold — until the matter is resolved.

Where retention applies, we limit use to compliance and do not use it for marketing. This is consistent with our Privacy Policy.
