This page ties together what you must do on Google for local discovery, which signals affect ranking, and how traffic tools (Analytics, Search Console) help you measure — not replace — a proper Business Profile.
Why MUST? For “near me” and city + service queries, Google’s local results (Maps, local pack) are driven primarily by a verified Google Business Profile. A website alone does not create that Maps listing. If you want branded and category visibility in the map + local 3-pack experience, you need a live, verified profile: correct categories, service area or address (per Google’s rules for your business type), phone, hours, website link, and reviews over time.
On this site after you have the public profile URL: set GMB_SAMEAS_URL in scripts/generateDelhiSeoPages.js, run the generator, and mirror the same URL in / LocalBusiness sameAs (see the box below) so entity + website stay aligned.
These influence how you show for local intent (Google’s algorithms — simplified):
LocalBusiness / Organization).sameAs (including your public GMP URL) help connect brand ↔ website.People often say “traffic signals” when they mean visibility data:
js/kaameasy-analytics.js — it measures sessions, pages, and conversions. It does not by itself make you rank in Maps; it shows whether organic and direct traffic are growing after you do GMP + content + links.Summary: GBP = MUST for the local/Maps channel. Search Console + GA4 = measure website traffic and improve iteratively. Use all three; don’t replace one with another.
https://www.kaameasy.in and/or the Delhi NCR hub for local landers.sameAs in code (see next box).GMB_SAMEAS_URL in scripts/generateDelhiSeoPages.js and run node scripts/generateDelhiSeoPages.js./ LocalBusiness and @graph Organization sameAs.Disclaimer: This is educational; Google’s product names and features change. “Top 3 in Maps” is never guaranteed from on-page HTML alone — GBP + site + reviews + real authority work together.
